We are the united voice of our region’s arts and cultural community. Our members are arts and culture organizations of all kinds and all sizes in a seven-county region. The Cultural Alliance helps them to find new approaches that increase earned revenue, reduce costs, find new efficiency and put creativity into the business of our work as well as our mission-driven product.
The Cultural Alliance works on a regional level, organizing collaborations and facilitating work that no single organization could achieve alone. We have three program initiatives:
- Collective Voice
- Connecting Assets
- Cultural Education
The Cultural Alliance conducts annual research so that the challenges of our sector will be better understood, and our achievements and innovations better known. The first report was released in April 2008: The Challenge of Sustainability for Arts and Culture Organizations in Southeastern Michigan.
